I picked up some shares last week just based off the 52 week low and the dividend. I think the merger goes through though. They have some serious lobbying power if they let them acquire Directv because I thought for sure that was going to get denied.

Been keeping an eye on this. Not sure if it's going to dip back into the $31 area again, so might have to pull the trigger.
Can someone explain to me how the dividends work? How are they paid out and does it matter what platform is used to purchase the stock (in my case, Robinhood)?
