Have one of the expensive custom ones for a pipe band uniform. Have had women try to lift it in a parade. Always get asked what’s under it.

I personally don’t find it that comfortable. It’s heavy and one correctly worn goes up high (like where a cummerbund is worn). It is also hot as hell when there is no breeze.
