Why am I so concerned about running backs this season? Will we be ok here?

There's a CHS Curdog in the mix, so it'll be fine. Those guys are pretty good - Warrick Dunn, Travis Minor, Guice.

Good point. Guess I’m just hoping someone sees something I don’t. With lack of passing attack in the past, we got by with big running plays because of exceptional backs. I’m hoping Provens can provide the offense a “spark” and I think that’s “ok”.

Well I hope you see that CEH looks like our next great back. I think eventually, maybe not right away he will be a very very good option. We don’t have a bell cow this year but we can still be effective on the ground as a committee if everyone plays their role well

We won't have difference maker there, but RB is the easiest position in football. If the Oline blocks well, we will still be able to run the ball. I'm not too concerned.

Andy Staples said yesterday on Sirius XM college football radio that LSU does not have a RB on the roster who has rushed for a TD. Doesn't mean the sky is falling but it does speak to the level of experience or lack thereof.

After CEH scores his first 2 touchdowns he will go beastmode the rest of the season. I have no doubt. Not worried.

Elite backs are difference makers in close games. However, average to above average backs aren’t going to hold your team back. If anything, it likely forces the offense to be more balanced.

If we have qbs out of the gazooh then why is there a full court press right now to land a grad transfer? That tells me that there is major concern at qb right now.
