So a player who couldn't even win the starting job at a Big 10 program will come to LSU and win the national championship?

It’s not like he was playing at Illinois or some other lower tier school.

He didn’t win the starting job apparently due to an injury and got passed over by another very highly rated prospect.

There were reports that Flynn was actually going to pass up Russell, but then he got mono and couldn’t compete. Things worked out quite well in the end.

I think our white fans just want to believe this.

Russell was a far better QB in college and has arguably the strongest arm in the history of the sport. They had the same record their last year as starters and Russell's stats were on another level.

Flynn: 202/359 - 56.3%, 2,407 yds, 6.7 YPA, 21 TDs, 11 INTs

JRock: 232/342 - 67.8%, 3,129 yds, 9.1 YPA, 28 TDs, 8 INTs

If Russell stays in 2007, we go undefeated.

And Russell was getting playing time years before Flynn, so I don't believe a second of that rumor.

WTF? BS! Great white hope!

Urban has had multiple greats before, and had Cam not borrowed that laptop perhaps he usurps Tim? See how stupid that sounds?
