So the non ignorant faction position is that Iran wasn’t really a player in the terror sponsor world until after 2003. Gotcha. Hezbollah dates to 1985, and Islamic Jihad to 1987. Ignorance is bliss, I guess.

Your reading comprehension is lacking. Asserting that Iran influence in the region and its financing of terror groups increased exponentially after 2002 is not the same thing as saying they were non-existant prior to 2002.
