I don’t want him to walk but do you really offer max money to a guy who just tore his Achilles and whom you won without?


In a perfect world, he takes big money but not max money so we can still maneuver around the tax threshold.

In real life, you try to explain to him that without major cap maneuvering, we can’t pay him the max AND keep his buddy Rondo who has been instrumental to our success.
