Exactly. Practice is the time for the coaches to coach the players and the games are for the players to play what they know and I can promise you they know a hell of a lot.

Point is, it’s the players who are screwing up, not Mainieri. If Beck can’t throw strikes in that situation, which he knows he’s the go to guy in those situations, then yes it is on him.

I don’t understand why people get so upset when certain players not making plays are the reasons why we lose and Mainieri says the cold hearted truth and people get all butthurt about it. It’s the spoiled fans we have that just don’t understand baseball. I use to take pride in how knowledgeable our fans are but when we’re not winning, our fans become the dumbest fans in the world

In this case PM is the parent of the kids that won’t behave.
