The problem I think is you are judging our fan base by yours. And equating Tiger Stadium with Sanford.
Both are hugely different. Louisianans as a whole don't have the same hang ups about drinking as our Bible Belt SEC brethern largely do. Else we wouldn't be having this conversation. Because then LSU would be selling alcohol freely throughout Tiger Stadium.
And add to that Tiger Stadium has about twice the premium seating that Sanford Stadium does.
It honestly wouldn't surprise me to learn that the University of Georgia was one of the schools opposed to the selling of alcohol at SEC events.
I don't take issue with other fan bases beliefs, except when they try to restrict others based on those same beliefs.
