This is plainly a highly politicized issue. The president’s own communications with his lawyer are at issue. Soros is a known political opponent, and a fairly bitter one, of the president. How the privilege is handled could have a significant impact on the presidential popularity, and it’s an election year in which his party is in jeopardy of losing the House. If the judge has an intimate connection wit a leftist rival, reasonable people could question her impartiality.

That’s the pitch I’d make. I don’t buy it, but it might pass Rule 11. How you like me now, BB?

Very well argued.

But, you better have more specifics on the relationship between Woods and Soros to even have 1/4 of a chance.
