Yep. I’m really a lawyer. Pretty damn good one, too.

If I agreed with you, and frankly I don’t, I’d point out that the chief judge of the SDNY chose Judge Wood to oversee this issue, and the chief judge is a Clinton appointee.
Who is the chief judge of the SDNY?

I don't doubt it. I am not silly enough to pretend that there are some posters that are damn good lawyers. I'm a tax litigator....so I don't pretend to know all the ins and outs of fed conflicts. But presiding over soros' wedding seems to be a pretty clear one. No?

I don’t see it. Soros isn’t a party. Privilege is a pretty apolitical issue.

Are you kidding? If the judge is dirty it taints everything. You guys are insane.
Are you kidding?
Wood was the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York from 2006-2009, when she took senior status.
She had a special appointment to hear the motions on the Cohen subpoena matter.
You think they should bump she because she presided at Soros' wedding?
That is laughable.

Foreign influence on a judge in a case involving the lawyer of the President.
Posted on 4/16/18 at 11:04 pm to PointsInCase
Presiding over soros' wedding shows a connection to soros. Given the appearance of impropriety it would be prudent to recuse.
Posted on 4/16/18 at 11:05 pm to BBONDS25
The appearance of impropriety is the basis for recusal. Even if there is no actual issue...the fed code states that the appearance is sufficient.

Well let’s take old BBBond’s side for a sec.
This is plainly a highly politicized issue. The president’s own communications with his lawyer are at issue. Soros is a known political opponent, and a fairly bitter one, of the president. How the privilege is handled could have a significant impact on the presidential popularity, and it’s an election year in which his party is in jeopardy of losing the House. If the judge has an intimate connection wit a leftist rival, reasonable people could question her impartiality.
That’s the pitch I’d make. I don’t buy it, but it might pass Rule 11. How you like me now, BB?

I can't say this any other way.
There is absolutely no way -- ZERO CHANCE -- you clerked for a federal judge.

Pointsincase is clearly not a lawyer. Judge Holden may be. Your thoughts?

I spent the last year trying to research all of it going back to the very beginning, thousands of years ago....trying to piece it all together...sorting fact from fiction.
Every time I find one answer, 2 more puzzles pop up.
It truly is a massive, historic conspiracy.
It is the Great Red Herring.
