Cooper to me wouldn't play much next year, but definitely beyond that if he develops some. Not a big deal since he has 3 years left. He's not going to be a polished player coming in like White would have been, also much skinnier at like 6'9 205...but he can jump out the gym for size, one of top JUCO shot blockers last season (107 blocks in 37 games), and still averaged 10pts, 7 boards. Also has some 3 point range which is a huge added bonus for any guy that tall that can protect the rim too, although he used it about as much as Reath did this past season, so don't expect much more than 1 attempt a game even when he's starting, but he's also his 1st year into school so that could develop even more over time. He shot 39% from three this past season which is decent but again was only 14 for 36 so very small sample size.

Honestly, not opposed to sitting on the scholly’s this year. Anyone you get at this point is probably a project with a low floor. A sit out transfer would make sense more than a JUCO or grad transfer. Mathews would be one if the only guys immediately eligible I would want
