There is neighborhood just to the east of the golf course, but not sure about access any more.
You could just go to the public beach. You would not have to drag your kayaks that far for the water. The water is just to the east of the pier.

Awesome. I have a C-tug cart with sand wheels but its still a pita to move a 120# kayak. Think we may spend a day by the golf course then maybe another one around the CCA reefs. Anyone better than the other on a certain tide?
