Have a Model 12 28 gauge that has been passed down through the family. We don’t shoot it though.

My son inherited one from his grandfather. Havent shot it yet but looking forward to it. Are you just looking to own one or actually shoot it?

The holy grail of Model 12’s. Congrats. Most model 12’s that aren’t with high grade engraving or a legit pigeon grade won’t be worth that much...... The exception would be a model 12 28 gauge. Make sure whoever inherits that fully realizes what they’ve got!!!

I'm going to buy one.
Doesn't have to be right away, but will eventually find one that "speaks to me".

A couple years ago my mom was moving and said this is for you from your grandfather who had passed away. Had no idea about the rarity of it until I looked into it. Not sure how or where to display it or what exactly to do with it, but it’ll stay in the family and be passed down for sure.

I like them. Especially the 16 gauges, because they are built as a 16 should be. Slim and trim. And model 12's are so smooth. I have a model '97 16 gauge. It's not as smooth as the model 12, but it's very slim pointy shotgun.
