I don't know man. It seems like Dallas has all the cons of Louisiana weather but has worse/longer winters.

A pro is less rain, sure. I'll give it that but I'm not sold on the humidity part. It seems humid as hell in Dallas. It's all about dew points unless you think 70% humidity in California feels the same as 70% humidity in Louisiana.

Weather and bad drinking water aside, Dallas has a ton going for it though.

These do not compute. Have you lived in both? I have and one of the first things I noticed when I moved here is the great doesn't hit you in the face like it does in Louisiana. Don't get me wrong, it's hot as shite, but you can actually feel yourself getting hot instead of immediately start sweating like in Louisiana.

Louisiana had a much worse most recent winter.
