Did you intend to be so broad with the statement that our tax dollars shouldn't be paying for it? Because if that's the case, you'd also have to believe that it should be legalized or that people should never end up in prison because of it.

Funny thing is there was a country in europe that did this nearly 20 years ago. They used the money they saved on jail to pay for education and public rehabilitation centers.
And guess what it worked. But you know how those politicians are; evidence and facts can't change years of propaganda no matter how much we scream at them. As evidenced by some of the responses on this board.
