Problem is BR is getting more dangerous.
Middle class is moving out and areas are going down.
Neighborhoods that were decent and had less calls 10 to 15 yrs ago now have a higher rate of calls.
I feel in a way for these guys as far as the workload has gone up while the pay along with staffing the districts has not caught up with the changes in BR.
You have a mayor that is against you, Police Chief that has no clue what he is doing (state police have no experience in being city police different calls), and low morale you will lose the younger officer or officers that can retire. All you will have left is the guys stuck trying to get their retirement.

BRPD is about to become a copy of Dallas PD, Baltimore PD, etc. It’ll be the place young people go and get their training then bolt to decent agencies. This leaves you constantly replacing your academy graduates and the ones that stay are often too shitty to go anywhere else.
If you’re in BR, the place to work is LSP or LSUPD. Both have a lot of money and toys. EBRSO and BRPD have no money, shitty toys, and low morale. Sid supports his guys way more than Murphy, but their equipment at EBRSO is fricking embarrassing.

She is doing whatever possible to destroy the morale and effectiveness of any kind of policing. She does some behind the scenes cutting of a lot of what BR is and is destroying the fragile balance between being a city and chaos.
As far as doing anything good, or productive, she has done nothing but hold a bunch of meetings where the main goal is to drag her fat arse to the trough once again.
Maybe I am wrong here. Can someone list all the accomplishments of her tenure?
