If I were buying rods for those two reels, I would put the 2500 on a 6'9" Cajun Coastal Medium Action. The 3000 series on a Cajun Delta 7'3" MH. Those two rods can handle anything inshore can throw at it. Incredibly tough and versatile. I love my Cajun rods, and at their price point, I feel like you are getting a much better rod than you pay for. And they are made here in the US.
