Any ideas?
1. Higgins Circle. However, the communist crybabies won’t allow it to be a white guy.
2. Veterans circle with a statue of an American soldier or sailor. That makes most sense since it’s right by the WW2 museum.
3. Honore Circle to honor General Honore, but I don’t like the idea of honoring someone until after they die.

In my opinion , I don't think it needs to be a war hero nor a political figure.
The only way it won’t be a shiteshow is if is a war hero.

think an entertainer or musician would be appropriate and avoid a stupid controversy. I highly doubt it will be Benson, and I don't think that would be the best choice anyway.. Personally, I really think Toussaint or Domino would work well. They're both unique to New Orleans and I doubt Either would ruffle too many feathers, unless some thinks it should be a more "serious" historical figure like a soldier or a political leader.
It has to be more serious, or else it will be whiny shiteshow. The only ppl that will pitch a bitch fit about a war hero or vet monument are the America hating, communist scum that make up Take Em Down NOLA, but they will bitch no matter what.
