Why not? Drug abusing minstrels seem to be all New Orleans has of note these days...Louis Armstrong smoked dope every day of his adult life and the airport is named for him.

Then again, if could be named for Andrew Higgins who Eisenhower credited for winning WWII.

Nah because Eisenhower was white and a lot of units in world war 2 were segregated. Therefore Eisenhower is the white male patriarchy and must be scrubbed from the history books.
