If it truly was just about the message and not about the flag/anthem, he would've changed his method of protest long before he was unemployed, when it first became abundantly clear his message was being misinterpreted.

Sounds like he doesn't have much conviction in his methods if he's willing to capitulate ths easily.

For as misguided as he is, at least kaepernick has consistently stood by his beliefs and continued his fight, and deserves at least some respect for that.

Eric Reid just proved he is nothing but a poser and a sellout.

Nope, he also told owners he would stop kneeling if they would let him play.

Take away the paychecks and people change their tune pretty quick. Not many people are willing to go hungry for their beliefs.

If I remember correctly, Kaepernick has said he would no longer kneel during the anthem.
