Hotlips Tom Herman did pretty good in his first year at UH with a new and patchwork coaching staff Went 13-1 losing to UCONN but they beat FSU.

Pretty good? 13-1 is a hell of alot better than pretty good. Some folks on the rant were happy as clams (yourself included) with o going 9-4 this past year.

BUT, I wouldn't want his second season.

Herman went 9-3 his second season. Houston as a team went 9-4. The same fricking record that o had last year, and you guys were giddy as kids in a candy store over that record.

frick Ree, you never cease to amaze me with the shite you post.

Was LSU ranked #6 in the country at any time last year. Did they have by far the most talent in the SEC like UH did in the AAC? Was LSU favored to win a game by 23 points and lose by 22 while gaining 303 yards against a team with a losing overall and conference record? Did LSU do that in the coach's second season? Did LSU go from ranked top 10 to unranked?

Things to consider.

ETA: and there is even more.
