Some of y'all didn't read my post. She had a rap sheet for various offenses a mile long. She didn't get 21 years for this particular crime, she got it for her history.

"Neatherlin pleaded guilty to 11 counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment and one count of third-degree assault, according to court records".
Pretty sure it was this. You don't get punished for your rap sheet. Of course, it will be looked at.
