That didn't break him.
He did even commit a crime until Mueller started investigating him and even Mueller is backing off those charges.
Mueller broke him due to legal fees.
Seems tyrannical. But I understand. Police state tyrants are generally tyrannical.

People on this board who don't do federal criminal work have no idea how easy it is to "lie" to the FBI. There's a reason their interviews aren't recorded. If you say something to the FBI in an interview, and they find someone who has a different recollection of said event or occurrence, even if your recollection wasn't dishonest, that is sufficient to sustain a charge of lying to the FBI. And that opens the door to an investigation the scope of which most of us cannot comprehend.
It's laughable that the board's liberals are creaming themselves over an arrest made by an autocratic agency whose history includes surveiling political dissidents, rounding up Japanese-Americans into internment camps and creating fake terror plots post-9/11 to entrap vulnerable people into a criminal conspiracy.
