Like that hideous cobblestone cart path they paid for

Chouest owned the pavers and paving company, he had Mexicans sitting around on payroll doing nothing, the cart paths was horrible, so he made some new ones. I could give two fricks about a clubhouse honestly, my pet peeve will always be golf course conditions and I’ve never played LaTour since the day it opened that it hasn’t matched up to any golf course in the state condition wise. I don’t need a clubhouse more than what they have now, I don’t need a pool or tennis courts, I have all of that at the club close to my house and never use any of it except the bar and occasionally the restaurant.

People like you aren’t exactly plentiful in that area. Thibby talks about it being close to sustainable on its own but that was with the promise of a growing club with nice facilities and a growing residential base neither of which happened. Even if the guy stayed alive, I’m not sure it would have survived much longer than it did.
