The whole EBRCOA clusterfrick put a bad taste in a lot of tax payers’ mouths. I’m not sure I’m in favor of the new BREC tax, but Baton Rouge’s public park system is actually one of the few things it does right.

Now, when the mayor proposes to raise property taxes, I hope that south BR shows up with a vengeance to vote that shite down. No reason property owners in the southern part of the parish should foot the bill for improvements to NBR where the majority of the freeloaders live.
