Most jobs are this way in all states. Very few really benefit from a college degree. I have 2 degrees and can't think of a single thing that I learned in college that I apply at work. You learn almost everything by doing the job.

It's a necessary part of the overall economy, you're right. However, you don't want your economy driven by unskilled or uneducated work.
That's not my opinion, that's a fact.
