I get it. But looking at what's being reported isn't saying your nephew can't have it. It's just a way to keep the parenting and uncleing in for a bit longer.

It doesn't solve anything for most gun owners.

The other gun barrel we're looking down is mental health. That's the angle that solves the most but it's full of slippery slopes as not everyone on mood enhancers is planning to murder spree.

The biggest thing that needs to happen is the goddamned reporting agencies need to get their act together. This kid was red flagged all over and we recently had that dishonorable shoot up a church. Both were very stoppable if the right people were talking.

If we gotta force parents to parent then we gotta though. Make it a buck stops with the parent so someone harboring another Lanza doesn't keep him in a house with easy access.


It fricking sucks and it won't stop everybody cuz it'll either be a stolen gun or a bomb or a truck.
