I got 6 years trouble free on my newest boat trailer with an all LED system, given our hyper salinity waters down here that's a miracle. Plugs on the back of LED's are whats failing now, they have rubber grommets to keep water out but over that span the rubber starts to let water in then they are cooked in short order. Just ordered everything to go new from the hitch back, marine tinned copper wire and LED's all around, it was a couple hundred bucks on amazon but it will be well worth it if I can go another 5 or 6 years without crawling around on the ground trying to figure out why the lights aren't working when I should be on the road to go fishing.
