Atlanta runs local participant drag races on pit road during the summer. They also have weekly Legends/Bandelero racing on a track that incorporates pit road and the front stretch. Add to that car shows, an air show and the stock care/exotic car driving experiences and they keep the calendar pretty full.

I am not sure if they still do it, but back in early 2000s Harley-Davidson had a contract with Talladega to use the track as a test track. You could go take the tour and be in the infield and watch guys on Harleys flying around those high banks. Was amazing, and somewhat scary.
