Take that comment to the Outdoor Board and see what kinda responses you get. I’d imagine it would be similar to starting an “Obama is tGOAT” thread on the Poli Board.

ETA: They can frick up entire seasons of Turkey hunting. I’ve seen that first hand.

There were probably a lot of other factors. The population may have been too low to begin with. On their best days 75% of turkey eggs don't hatch and 75% of those that hatch don't make it to year 1. It's called reproduction by attrition I think. The hens drop so many eggs at the same time that predators can't keep up. If there aren't many turkey in an area it doesn't work.
