Round 21, Team Fibonacci Squared selects:

Way too damn good to still be here...

Braden Lenzy - ATH/WR - Notre Dame

We made the decision to forgo an official Tight End draft in regulation here and go 3 wide out instead... not to mention that Latu played significant time in HS as a TE and could be a 2 way athlete for us easily... With that said...

Lenzy - 6'0" 175, brings a speed element to the receiving corps that ND is going to need.

• Sixth All-Time in the state of Oregon in the 200-meter race with a time of 21.34 seconds
• Oregon Class 6A 2016 State Champion in 400-meter race with a time of 47.92 seconds.

Laser 40 timed with a 4.47, so good combination of enough length/size to win contests but burst and long speed to create separation.

Originally was committed to ND, then decommitted to stick with the in-state Ducks over some confusion of wanting to compete in Track & Field as well as football, only do decommit and re-select Notre Dame upon Taggart leaving for Florida State... I thought his piece in the Players Tribune was a pretty good read honestly. Just reminds you there are some pretty shitty humans on the internet when a HS kid gets "death threats" over his college decision... regardless of whether it was handled well or poorly.

Now... to figure out who will be chucking him the rock as he burns past all of your DBs.
