Different times, 35 man rosters and change in bats would have hurt Bertman too.
No more gorilla ball.
No more 50 man rosters, where you can have tryouts for all positions and keep good players from other schools.

Skip would of recruited more power at the plate versus the type of player PM recruits. So basically Skip's team would be much better scoring runs.
