I think people are pretty sour about Surtain and Goodrich
Had we landed one of the 2 (or in a perfect world both) people would be understandably less apprehensive about the class.

Considering the big picture, our class is outstanding. It is every single year.
Relative to the SEC, it's not special at all. Unfortunately LSU is still in the SEC. As long as they remain in the SEC we have to view the class with that lens. When UGA and Bama are getting top 5 classes (UGA just put the finishing touches on a historically great class) we need to do better.

I was going to freak them out by pointing out that GOD lost two commits who flipped the past class but I didn't want their heads to explode. GOD lost a 5-star linebacker and a 4-star defensive tackle. These two guys who stiffed GOD were actual commits to the program before flipping the bird in heaven's direction.

I still cant believe how no one has pointed out that the 15th best class out of 120 teams is not a class in the top 10% lol. I understand the point he was trying to make, but that is just factually wrong lol
