He passed for 56% completion rate, when he was scrambling damn near every play due to his elementary school-level O-line. I'd guesstimate that more that more than half his throws were made on the run.
Now I'm certainly not saying that he's as accurate as Brennan. However, he's accurate enough, and his other intangibles are what makes him superior, in my opinion.

If he's accurate enough he needs to start because with his size and running ability it's too much to pass up. I rather defer to Brennan if Lowell can't play instead of just giving it to Brennan and never seeing what Lowell is capable of.

However, the best comparison we have between LN and MB was head to head at the elite 11 competition which both were at (along with Tua, who won the competition), and MB fared much better at that time.
Maybe LN has improved much more than Brennan since then, but that remains to be seen. Brennan is known for working pretty hard at his craft so if Narcisse is that much improved, then next year could be entertaining.
Of course, none of this does any good, since all it really ends up doing is fueling camps of people dug in on which quarterback they think is best, and ultimately leads to bashing of the other. Both of these fine young men chose to take their talents to LSU and should be appreciated regardless of who wins the starter role.

Etling said Lowell Narcisse will be a stud QB. He said he was amazed how well he learned the offense last season with so little reps. Etling also said that his concentration at practice has been very good and he has demonstrated a high degree of maturity.
Then he said he just has a few more basic things to hone his skills on but he said with good coaching, lots of repetitions, and with continued hard work and dedication he could polish off those things really quickly.
I personally think that because of his size, his athleticism, his strength, his speed, his maturity, and his cannon for an arm that he has a higher ceiling than Brennan does.
Also heard Coach O was highly impressed with his progress once he became fully healthy. I hope the competition this spring is fair and may the best quarterback win.
Furthermore, most of the time but not all the time, people who suffer knee injuries have stronger knees after their surgery and rehabilitation than before. So I have my fingers crossed that it will be that way with Lowell Narcisse.
