Only one playoff team from last year was in it this year for the NFC. Schedule looks tough but often means jack shite. Things change quickly. Saints do have a very nice roster and should be in good shape.

Part of the reason some teams don't make it back to the playoffs is the schedule. The NFL uses it as an attempt to inject some parity in the NFL by forcing you to play two teams that finished the same place in their division as you. For us this year that means Vikings and Rams, two teams that account for 3 of our losses last year. Optimistically we split these two for one loss.

We play in THE toughest division in football. I'm not counting on sweeping either the panthers again or the Falcons next season. Add to that the Bucs always play us tough. I'm going to go 1-2 losses in division.

We play the NFC East, where the champion Eagles reside as well as the competitive Cowboys and Redskins. I'm going with a potential 1 loss here.

We play the AFC North with the annual contender Steelers and always competitive Ravens and Bengals reside. Again, i can see 1 loss here.

I see our range as 10-6 to 13-3. But i think we will have better luck with injuries, get a good split of the tough games at home and add the pieces this offseason to get to 12-4.
