I will say this... I don't think Miles could have rebuilt the way Saban did... He's just a different kind of guy... Saban came at the RIGHT TIME and did his thing.. And he PUT LSU on the MAP per say more than they have been in years.... However, Not sure how Saban would have handled the 1st few weeks of the 2005 season.....

I can agree that he probably wouldn't have rebuilt as well, but that's WAY different than giving all the credit for a championship to Saban 3 years after he left. I don't think it's fair to fault Miles for stepping into a good situation.

Now, if he had won the championship that first year in '05, we're having a different discussion who deserves the most credit.
