He chose to leave the NFL. He was still working in the NFL when he was hired. Completely different versus a coach gets fired and is looking for a job.
I really like this hire. IF they fix the O-line and give the QB time to throw LSU's offense will greatly improve.
Brennan is supposed to be more accurate with a stronger arm. We'll have to see how well he can pick up a defense.
