You know I'm a relative lefty hbt, and I cringed when I heard the joke. Calling back to the Holocaust for humor works when you don't get enough bread at a restaurant, something benign enough to get the laugh at the absurdity of the comment. Referencing marriage troubles...it doesn't really work.

It's Maher though, poor taste is part of his schtick.
