I had a device when we had an analog line back in the day. You could blacklist and whitelist numbers. You could also block ranges or entire area codes. Best money ever spent back then. I think they have them for digital home lines now.

You should just use the whitelist option though. Valid companies do not need to reach you by phone any longer or if they do you will know their number to whitelist.
