This is incorrect.

I'm already Monster Hunter rank 8, so I'm pretty far, and I'm the only person who can go back and play with friends. And before I can even join in with them, they have to progress so far into the mission. They have to watch a cut scene before I can even join in.

It's the dumbest thing I've ever seen implemented into a video game. It isn't a huge deal, because thus far it doesn't really entail doing anything because the cut scene doesn't roll until you actually find the monster. It's just a massive inconvenience. though.

Like if you have a group of 4 people wanting to play, three of them go in and get to the cut scene, have to quit out and then join the fourth person after they see the scene themselves.
