Seriously thinking it’s my mounts

35 is rough on scope mounts. Single piece is almost mandatory no matter what the ring maker says. My CVA came with their one piece mount and it’s never given me an issue. I put a DNZ on my younger brothers handi-rifle and it’s a tack driver now, after some other adjustments.

35s are also notorious for being picky about ammo from barrel to barrel, all you can really do is shoot them all and see what it likes. Mine likes federal premium bonded bear claws and will stack them up at 100 yards, but I’ve heard others cuss them. It can be dramatically different from gun to gun.

Some people have had issues with the T/C 35s having loose hinge pins, I don’t own one so that’s the entent I know about it.

35 is a great caliber. My 30-06 and .270 only leave the cabinet if I’m hunting long power lines these days.
