The CFB world pretty much turned on the LSU fan base for wanting Les removed but I think most agreed that the "river boat gambler" had lost his nerve and we had reached a plateau. It happened to Landry and Bowden and they were far more accomplished than Les.

I can dissect the good and bad of each hire and/or decision, but I do believe that ultimately O and Alleva have instilled an insider culture that is counter to sustained success. I see how they can manufacture some positive short term outcomes but I just don't see a blueprint for success making decisions that are safe and comfortable.
