What are UGA, Bama, Clemson etc coaches telling their players to mitigate this issue for their respective teams? Why isn't our coaching staff able to do the same?

They leave early because they have had to play since their freshman year and that's due to getting owned on the recruiting trail.
Alabama has red shirt juniors riding the bench. They play one year as the starter, ball out then bail out.

we were playing for championships when more juniors were leaving. And this isn't just an LSU problem. The number of juniors nationally that declare every year has sky rocketed, and a lot of that has to do with the new rookie pay scales. There isn't as much as an incentive to return, financially, as there used to be
