If I ever have to care about who the walk ons are preferred or not to be meaningful players then I just quit...start watching bowling and call it a life...

Highland, wasn't JD Moore a walk on? Thought I had read that somewhere. I could be mistaken. Never know when a diamond is going to show up. Bama started a walk on in Clemson game at cb.

Just noting that the way walkons are... managed... can't think of the right term there, might have changed slightly with the new rules.

My thinking is that with the new rules we will have fewer times we're bumping up against the 85 limit, hence walkons will have a higher chance of being given a scholarship because they can be one of the few exceptions to the yearly 25 limit (if at program for 2 years).

Granted, we're not back a Nebraska type preferred walkon conditions/rules, but this just might bring their "value" up more.
