That's fair. And likely true. I just think betting on impeachment at this point would be a suckers bet. Particularly based on an assumption that a "midterm surprise" is impending.
Add in the historical rate of impeached Presidents = Sucker's bet. A small hope that a certain subset of the population can grab onto and hold tight for hope. But ground in very little reality.
And even if all the Dems in the newly gained house wanted to impeach, I would bet their constituents might disagree. Every state had Trump voters.
