i am overweight
So? Start small. Start walking for an hour a day. Set a goal and do it. I understand it is hard but if you want to get laid these are the choices you have to make. It isn't even about being overweight. It's about building yourself up. From what I can tell, you don't feel good about yourself. I've felt that way before, and I've helped others who felt that way. The easiest way to achieve confidence and self-belief is to change yourself. You can do it other ways. Women are attracted to looks, but they are also attracted to men who are comfortable with themselves. Hence why you often see women who seemingly date down. If you aren't comfortable with yourself, people can sense that.
I understand where you are coming from and what you are going through. But this is what it means to be a man. To build yourself into something.
It takes something like 21 days to build a habit. Don't say you are losing weight. Say you are taking a walk. Start small. Set small goals and take victories where they come. There is nothing stopping you at all. I know it is hard, and I'm sorry that it is that way. Every man I know has had to go through this in one way or another, about one thing or another. Think about this day and then the next. Push the past away for the time being, and just focus.
There are numerous ways of doing this. You can get motivation by reading, which helped me. Books like No More Mr. Nice Guy by Robert Glove and The Way of Men by Jack Donovan are good places to start. I would highly suggest starting there. There is also a book by Athol Kay called The Mindful Attraction Plan which is a good book to set up goals and partition them in such a way that you can make those goals manageable.
Regardless, you can do it. There are so many resources out there if you want them. But it has to start with your desire and deciding how you want your life to be. At the very least, I believe in you.
