That’s a 2012 publication.

Since then, Alabama has attracted new business there. They have a brewery and tourism scene. Their beaches and coastal scene has been upgraded. They’re doing better than us at the moment.

This is very true. Birmingham was a shithole for a long time, but their downtown is actually becoming kinda nice. Huntsville is gorgeous, and the gulf coast has always been beautiful.

Here's a 2017 article and they are very comparable. My wife is from Hoover so I'm pretty familiar with the state.

Alabama is pretty bad. If they're trying to talk shite about Louisiana for anything other than football I'd have to say, glass houses.
