re: States ranked lower than Louisiana in cost of living

This is kind of weird. I would never consider moving to a city for a job and then go look at the state’s cost of living. I’d go look at the city’ Cost of living. It doesn’t make sense to rank states that way. For example, in Texas Dallas and Austin have a cost of living far higher than in Baton Rouge or New Orleans. But LA reports a higher state cost of living than TX
