Hyrule is 1.5 times the size of Skyrim but half of The Witcher 3: LINK
Honestly, Hyrule is about as big of a map as I would ever want. I hope the sequel is about the size of Skyrim as well.

I had my first “oh shite” moment today when I was down at the beach and decided to head back up the way I came. There is like this big cavern with a hole, so I climbed up there. Then I went to what looked like another cave and there was some massive pig nosed creature sleeping in it. I managed to kill him with a ton of arrows. First thing I’ve fought of that size and it was such a weird innocuous way to get to him. Makes me want to explore even more to see what lurks in weird places.
