re: Any of you baws had sinus surgery?

Recovery was horrible. Doctor gave me the option not to pack with gauze to speed healing. Started bleeding out that night got to make a trip to the ER. Every time he would pull out the gauze I was reminded of the magic trick with the never-ending handkerchiefs coming out of the sleeve. Yards and yards of bloody crap. I DO have fewer sinus infections now, but it is a toss up if you ask me if it was worth it.
